FYI
Arrange your transportation before your departure. I recommend using Gray Line or T.T.A as they are the only two companies licensed by the Cancun International airport.
Nightlife
The nightlife in Cancún only compares to the night life in Miami, although it is slightly more X Rated. The clubs pack loads of entertainment, from costume clad go-go dancers to live performances. The party starts at 10pm and ends at sunrise.
DaddyO’s
Dubbed the best club in Cancún, it has a lively atmosphere and plays a mash of all genres.

FYI
Driving Vs Taxi. If you plan on venturing outside of Cancun then renting a car is best. However parking is scarce and Police routinely stop visitors and occasionally will ask for a bribe to release your license. The Hotel Zone or Zona Hotelera has plenty to do and cabs are recommended, especially at night as some roads aren’t well lit.
Excursions
For an unforgettable experience swim with the dolphins at the Interactive Aquarium located inside of the La Isla Shopping Village. Golf anyone? Swing by the golf courses at Playa Mujeres; designed by Greg Norman, see you at the 9th hole.

Beaches
All of the hotels in the hotel zone have beaches. Cancún does offer some public beaches but they lack perks such as sun shelters, beach waiters, bars, towels to name a few.

Shopping
The only difference in shopping in Cancún is that price tags reflect the price in Pesos instead your local currency. Cancún has a lot of shopping destinations from street markets to high-end boutiques, malls and everything else in between.
La Isla Shopping Village
A trip to La Isla Shopping Village will leave you reminiscing of Venice, with its open-air architecture and a series of Venetian canals. La Isla has more than 120 stores, including Zara, Nike Cancun, and United Colors of Benetton, restaurants, clubs and a movie theater.
Luxury Avenue
Luxury Avenue; known as a “Boutique Mall” offers high end boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Burberry, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo and specialty gift shops including Baccarat, Christoffle, Lladro and Swarovski. While the Centurion card takes a break, stop by Segafredo’s for Italian coffee and specialty desserts.
FYI
While sun bathing don’t be surprised if you spot natives selling ethnic accessories, painted sea shells, and other hand made knick knacks along the beach.

Poshglamcouture:
Staying at the Me by Melia in Cancun is a must. Besides being one of the best hotels there the customer service is on the same line as the Burj Al Arab 7 stars.
